Hello everyone,

I was wondering if anyone could provide me with some engaging STEM activities that I could incorporate into my fourth grade classroom.

I'm sharing a message I posted elsewhere in this forum.
NSTA has recently published two related books by the Picture Perfect Science authors: Picture Perfect STEM, K-2 and 3-5. Each lesson is an engineering challenge tied to one or two read-aloud picture books.

If you are an NSTA member, there are members-only lists which get a lot of activity -- you post a question and a few hours later you might have 6-10 replies. Check out the following lists in particular: elementary, engineering, STEM. Here is a link to your members page to sign up for the lists:

Teach Engineering (www.teachengineering.org) is a site with over a thousand engineering activities at all levels. It is a great "go-to" site for engineering activities.
Link Engineering (www.linkengineering.org) is newer, but it is designed to actually connect people to support each other in implementing K12 engineering. For example, you could post a question and a real engineer might reply with info.
