FREE UCLA Nanoscience teacher training workshops

My name is Dr. Rita Blaik, and I am the Manager of Education at the California NanoSystems Institute (CNSI) at UCLA. I wanted to share with you all that CNSI offers free teacher training workshops on nanoscience experiments for K-12 educators throughout the year. Each workshop includes learning an experiment, pedagogy and NGSS integration, breakfast, lunch, and an experiment kit to take to your classroom with supplies for 90 students. Topics include Biotoxicity, The Lotus Effect (Elementary), Fast Batteries, Nanoscale Control of Wetting, Water Filtration, Nanoscale Patterning, Biopolymers, Solar Cells Optional, Measurement at the Nanoscale, and Biosensors!
