My name is Skye and this is my 3rd year at FIU. I am an Elementary Education major and can't wait to finally be full-time in the classroom. Teaching has always been a passion of mine. I have 2 sisters who graduated from FIU so, we are a Panthers family.

Wow, I love this idea. It is so creative. What I especially like is that it presents content in a fun and non-threatening way. I say non-threatening because as a student I was always intimidated by science and still am in some way today. This activity really is a fun way to introduce a science concept in fun way that will grab students attention and interest them.

5 Review of Collection-Plants
I rated this collection 5 stars for several reasons. The first reason is that, I found the articles were chosen wisely. I feel this way because I really like the titles, they sound interesting and appealing to young readers. Children's first impression of a text is the title. The title can either cause a student to stop and take a second look or browse on. The other reason I rated this collection 5 stars is because the resources provide the teacher with a variety of information. The articles provide information on plants (giving the teacher background knowledge on the topic) and also discusses assessment of this content knowledge. All in all, I feel this collection is helpful to both the teacher and students.
