After teaching from grades 5-9 in various capacities (with a couple of stints in curriculum work) for 40 years, I retired in May, 2012. I now am doing various part time curriculum consulting jobs, including curriculum support with Butler County ESC and a secondary PBL program with the University of Cincinnati school of engineering.

I can't answer comprehensively, as there are so many types of "textbooks" and curricula out there. I was looking at publishers whose curricula are (or will be) Google Classroom connectable. McGraw Hill has a new modular K-5 and 6-8 program: Inspire Science. It was written specifically around NGSS. Page Keeley has written formative assessment probes for it and Dinah Zike has created Foldables. It is not a traditional print text, but a composite with much online material.
