Jodie Lawson-Santos

Hi there! I am a primary school teacher from Canberra, Australia. I have taught in public education for over 20 years and am passionate about providing innovative opportunities and access for all students and teachers. In my current role as specialist science and STEM teacher, my core job is developing and delivering STEM inquiry future focused problem based learning. I teach preschool (four year olds) up to Grade 10 students. I work closely with business, industry and academia to support the development of highly motivational, hands on experiences for students, teachers and pre-service teachers studying at university. In my role as the ACT state wide Science and Engineering Fair Convenor, I liaise with colleagues around the country on best practice. I am very excited about and greatly look forward to meeting and working with all the Teacher Fellows and everyone from the Northrup Grumman Foundation and NSTA!
