No you are not wasting your time. I believe it's a great thing to us. Students will look back into this and realize their notes help them improve or study for an exam. In college, I use one.....on the left it's for my creative thoughts and on the right it would be for notes, lectures, and stuff. http://www.thekindergartensmorgasboard.com/2013_03_01_archive.html Look at this blog, I did this experiment for an afterschool program and it went fabulous! The kids were able to understand how clouds are and learn on their own but doing the experiment.
