I have seen a lot of great ideas on how to introduce weather to younger students and I think introducing a book would be awesome. Students love carpet time and they enjoy be read to as well. I think it is very important to keep communication between parents and teachers. One way to keep parents informed would be to have a blog or a monthly newsletter that students can take home. Hey Stephanie, This is a great idea to introduce students to the sun movements. The students will be learning and collecting data throughout the day.
