I think many times it is risky to send actives like this home since the outcome may be really good or really bad. For instance, I am in a school that is located in a low socio-economic area. Although, I think take home projects are great because they include parents, siblings, and family members I am scared that most of my students do not participate and it is a complete fail.  What are recommand...

In my science methods class we actually spent the whole class time talking about energy. My group had solar energy and our activity included students going outside to see an egg cook on a pan. I think this activity would be great for all grade levels. Minor changes and modifications could be made depending on the grade. This will really apply a class content to the real-world.
