Amanda Zaragoza

Hi! My name is Amanda Zaragoza, I am currently a senior at the University of Houston, my major is education and I am working on my EC-6 generalist certification. I have three awesome boys who I absolutely adore, when I am not in school I am spending it with my boys. I look forward to using the NSTA as a recourse to refer to throughout the remainder of my education and as I transition into my own classroom ! :)

I will be a new teacher soon and although I am nervous about being a first year teacher as a parent I personally do not mind first year teachers because they are usually more enthusiastic about teaching and really enjoy the students. There is nothing more important to a parent than knowing the teacher loves our children. So do not worry to much!

Welcome I am also new to the NSTA. I feel somewhat confused about the navigation but hope to become more familiar with the website.
