I hope one day to be an awesome 3rd grade teacher. I love learning new things and to help others learn as well. My strength is life science/biology.

Take them on a field trip! Where I come from there is a science center with an amazing dinosaur exhibit that I even find engaging. They would love an experience like it.

Hi! There are many resources here from NSTA and numerous supplements you can find online and in libraries to create lessons from, its just a little bit more of a challenge.

Hi! I feel like children in general will become more engaged and interested in science if they see the "fun" side of it. Speaking about girls in particular, I think it would be interesting to inform them about successful female scientists and their accomplishments, and also tell them about how not all science requires them to get their hands dirty. Good luck!

5 Very Informative
I used this as one of my resources for a unit plan, and it has a lot of information about the theory of plate tectonics.

5 Awesome resource
I love how I re-learned most of my cell knowledge from this. It was very informative and helped me refresh my memory about cells.
