Hi,  My name is Leanna Ferreiro. I am an Elementary Education major. I think this is a great way to have students learn about sound. This activity is fun and interactive. The use of a carrot may be messy but I think in the long run it will be well worth it. It seems like an activity that students would enjoy and take meaningful information from. There are many traditional actives that one can u...

Hi, My name is Leanna Ferreiro, I am a senior in Elementary Education. This is such a wonderful thing to hear. I agree, it is crazy to think that there are children that have never gone fishing or had an experience like this one. One would think, these students live near the water they would have done this once in their lives. I believe this is a wonderful opportunity that someone can take to ed...

I think your review had many interesting and helpful articles that would be able to help you in a classroom. I love learning about the sun and the moon. Some of the article I saw were very interesting and had great information that you can implement into your lesson. I especially like the article titled: The Early Year's: The Sun's Energy. It had great information that talked all about the early years and how things were back then.

5 Lianna's Review on Maria's Collection
I believe that Maria had a clear understanding of Living and non living things. She provided very good sources that can help students and teachers to find information on living and non living things. Her collection would be great to use in a science classroom that is trying to learn about the related topic. While reading through some of the collections that she added to her assignment I especially enjoyed reading through the "Living or Nonliving" collection. This collection provided reader with tremendous amounts of information that can help anyone learn about living and non living things. This is a great help for teachers to address any misconceptions that his or her students may have. Maria did a great job of carefully selecting her collections that would aid her in creating a lesson plan and help anyone who is teaching a lesson on her concept.
