The Universe
Looking to expand your horizons this summer? Join us for the new NSTA Online Short
Course: The Universe. This short course will explore the ways scientists learn about
the universe and the current ideas about the origins and formation of the universe.
The course will also focus on how the universe was formed, formation and destruction
of stars and characteristics of the sun and stars in terms of size and composition.
During this course, particular emphasis will be given to NASA resources you can
use with your students and inquiry based instruction models. This is the perfect
course for science teachers interested in learning more about the topic or for those
who would like a refresher course. Two graded, graduate level credits will be available for an additional fee.
