Participants meet five times live online with a content expert and NSTA staff for questions and discussions and work offline with self-paced materials to boost their content knowledge and understanding of the topic.

This introductory price includes access to the five live meetings and archives,
the instructor’s PowerPoint presentations, a discussion listserv, and the required
course materials: SciPack, SciGuide, 2 Journal Articles, and Force and Motion book.
The next edition of the NSTA Online Short Course: Force and Motion will be during
the winter 2010.
- At the end of the course, all participants will have the opportunity to pass a final
assessment and print a certificate from NSTA demonstrating their understanding and
proficiency of the content.
- Educators are encouraged to seek approval in advance from their district for continuing
education credits that may be ascribed for participating in this online short course.
