Live Interactive Learning @ Your Desktop

Presented by science experts and NSTA staff, the NSTA Online Short Courses are professional development opportunities designed for teachers looking to learn a new topic or for those interested in a refresher course.

Participants engage in 5 live sessions and asynchronous discussions with the course instructor and colleagues sharing ideas on how to present the topic in the classroom. The participants will also use a variety of supplemental resources including the accompanying NSTA SciPack. Finally, participants have exclusive access to the presenters' PowerPoint presentations, list of web links, and can watch the archives of the live web sessions as needed.

I liked the convenience of attending class from my living room and interacting as I needed. Most of the information helped me personally, and the last session was directly pertinent to my students’ curriculum.
