Two, free Web Seminars sponsored by NOAA’s National Ocean Service office were scheduled
in the spring of 2006. The programs featured Ms. Kelly Drinnen, from NOAA’s Flower
Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary, and Dr. Mark Eakin, from NOAA’s National
Environment Satellite, Data, and Information Service. The seminars focused on impacts
to corals and coral bleaching. All participants received information regarding electronically
available resources at NOAA. Both web seminars were designed for 5-12 grade level
educators.
