Uncovering Student Ideas in Science |
Presenter:
Page Keeley, Francis Eberle, and Lynn Farrin
Page Keeley, senior science program director; Francis Eberle, executive director;
and Lynn Farrin, science associate, work at the Maine Mathematics and Science Alliance,
where they develop and coordinate science education initiatives. Combined, they
have more than 25 years of teaching experience in middle and high school science;
Keeley and Eberle have also served as adjunct faculty in the University of Maine
system. Their work with teachers has covered professional development, leadership,
standards, curriculum development, assessment, and school reform.
Keeley has a bachelor's degree in life sciences from the University of New Hampshire
and a master's in science education from the University of Maine. Eberle earned
his bachelor's in science education from Boston University, a master's in educational
psychology from the University of Connecticut, and a doctorate in science education
from Lesley University. Lynn Farrin's bachelor's in secondary education is from
the University of Maine at Farmington; her master's in science education is from
the University of Maine at Orono.
