What Is ExploraVision and How Can I Use It in My Classroom?
All web seminar participants use online tools that allow them to mark-up presenter's slides or share desktop applications in addition to engaging in chat with others online and answering poll questions

This web seminar took place on September 26, 2013 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. eastern daylight time. The presenters were Eric Crossley, Director of Science Education Competitions at NSTA, and Danny Borges, a teacher at David Thompson Secondary in Vancouver, Canada and coach of a winning ExploraVision team.

Mr. Crossley began the presentation by providing an overview of the competition and showing how to register teams via the ExploraVision website. Mr. Borges talked about the winning idea developed by his students and shared insights from his own experience as a coach. He discussed strategies for helping students develop ideas, manage their time, make use of web 2.0 tools, and successfully complete their projects. Participants watched a video featuring teachers who have incorporated ExploraVision into their instruction.
