Presenting was Flavio Mendez, Senior Director NSTA Learning Center and Leisa Clark, Director of e-Learning Production. In this Seminar, Mr. Mendez focused the presentation on the new Learning Center resources and tools including the new ‘badge’ system and live, online help. The PowerPoint, related resources from the NSTA Learning Center, and web links from the presentation are now contained in the above resource collection. Clicking on the collection link will place it in your Learning Center, My Library, neatly organized under the My Resource Collections tab.

The site has over 6,000 resources available. Ms. Clark led the audience through one of the new simulations from the Cell Division and Differentiation SciPack. The audience members were asked to create Learning Center profiles, add items to their Learning Center libraries, and view their ‘points’. Mr. Mendez also talked about the new tools, including the live, online, Learning Center support as well as the new ‘badge’ system and Community Forums.
