Gary Koppelman is a Blissfield Elementary School Teacher and Outdoor Education Program Director. He is Elementary Science Curriculum Chair, supporting colleagues, resulting in a School of Excellence. He serves the Lenawee County’s K-16+STEM Pipeline Committee. He has written several “WOW, Hands-On, Minds-On K-5 Science Activities.” Gary is the current chairperson of the Shell Science Teaching Award Judging Panel. Gary received the National Shell Science Teaching Award, the Michigan School Board EDEX20 Award, the PAEMST Award, was a Global Teacher Finalist, and was inducted into the National Teacher Hall of Fame.
