Preparing for the Journey to Space

web seminar player screen shot Two Web Seminars sponsored by the NASA Explorer Schools program were scheduled in the fall of 2005. The programs featured Mr. David McKissock, from NASA Glenn Research Center and Dr. Art Poland, from George Mason University. The seminars focused on the topic of energy, the Sun, space weather, human space travel, and the international space station’s power systems. All participants received information regarding electronically available resources at NASA. Both web seminars were designed for 4-9 grade level educators.
