Watershed Dynamics

Two Web Seminars sponsored by the National Science Teachers Association’s NSTA Press were scheduled in the fall of 2005. The programs featured Bill Carlsen and Nancy Trautmann, authors of the NSTA Press publication Watershed Dynamics. The seminars focused on the interplay between scientific data and human judgment, public policy decisions on zoning, flood control, and agricultural practices. Both web seminars were designed for 9-12 grade level educators.
