Living and Working in Space: Energy

All web seminar participants use online tools that allow them to mark-up presenter's slides or share desktop applications in addition to engaging in chat with others online and answering poll questions. Where does electricity come from in space? How does NASA provide energy for the International Space Station? This and other questions on energy in space were answered in two web seminars. The presenters, NASA scientist Dr. Therese Kucera and NASA engineer Steven Johnson focused on the solar cycle, space weather and spacecraft power systems respectively. These Web Seminars are designed for grade 4–9 educators. Check out our archive and PowerPoint presentations to view the seminars.
