Lunar Exploration |
Four web seminars designed to examine lunar science and exploration using a historical
perspective as background for the discussion of contemporary plans to return to
the Moon was presented by Dr. Anuradha Koratkar. Dr. Koratkar, a PHD in astronomy,
does research in the field of active galactic nuclei. The seminars took place in
the month of November and are designed for grade-level 5–8 educators. The topics
of the seminars are as follows: Mapping the Moon; Water, Water Everywhere?, Radiation:
Can’t live with it, Can’t live without it!, Energy and a Sustainable Habitat. Check
