National Aeronautics and Space Administration Successful Strategies for Involving Parents in Education

All web seminar participants use online tools that allow them to mark-up presenter's slides or share desktop applications in addition to engaging in chat with others online and answering poll questions Two Web Seminars on parental involvement in science and mathematics education were held with NASA presenters James B. Fitzgerald and Keely Keyser. The seminars focused on how educators can better engage parents and enlist their support for inquiry-based science and mathematics education.
