Dr. Robert C. Morrow
Dr. Bob Morrow is a Senior Scientist with ORBITEC in Madison WI. His primary role
is developing controlled environment systems and related technologies for high-yield
plant production. He has had 17 years experience with space based plant growth systems,
technologies for advanced life support, and aerospace related outreach. He also
has over 24 years experience in physiological plant disorders in enclosed environments,
environmental control technologies, biomass production. Dr. Morrow received his
Ph.D from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Horticulture and Botany.
Marty Gustafson
Ms. Gustafson specializes in commercial applications development and target market
research, leading the process of new product market implementation from commercial
requirements definition to product distribution. At PLANET she leads the project
management for Hypercosm LLC and Space Garden, including customer relationship development
and proposal generation. She is the lead project manager for JSC-1A lunar regolith
simulant production and distribution, and the deputy project manager for the NASA
Phase II project entitled “Improved Lunar and Martian Soil Simulants.” Ms. Gustafson
also handles all market communications and market research for PLANET’s next generation
of products and services.
Jonathan Neubauer
Jonathan Neubauer is an Education Specialist in the Teaching From Space Office located
at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Lyndon B. Johnson Space Center
in Houston, Texas. Currently, he is the lead for education payloads operated out
of this office. Neubauer earned his Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education
from the University of Delaware in Newark, Delaware and a Masters of Education in
School Leadership from Wilmington College in Georgetown, Delaware. He has been involved
in the education arena for over 10 years. In 2004, he began his career with NASA
as the NASA Explorer Schools Coordinator at Johnson Space Center. He is a licensed
aircraft dispatcher. Neubauer is a member of the National Science Teachers Association
(NSTA), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM), and the International
Technology Education Association (ITEA).
Marge Marcy
Marge Marcy is the NASA Explorer Workshop Coordinator for the NASA Explorer Schools.
Prior to her current position she was an Aerospace Education Specialist for eleven
years representing NASA Glenn Research Center throughout the states of Indiana,
Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. She worked at the NASA Glenn
Research Center Visitor Center for eleven years as an Aerospace Lecturer, Educator
Resource Center Coordinator, Volunteer Coordinator and Educational Program Manager.
As a former teacher she taught Biology, General and Physical Science. She received
her Bachelor of Science in Education Degree from Ohio University, Athens, Ohio and
a Masters of Science from Oklahoma State University, Stillwater, Oklahoma.
