All web seminar participants use online tools that allow them to mark-up presenter's slides or share desktop applications in addition to engaging in chat with others online and answering poll questions

NSTA Press sponsored two seminars featuring author Dr. Bill Robertson. The seminars focused on the NSTA Press publication Force and Motion: Stop Faking It! Finally Understanding Science So You Can Teach It. The author guided participants through easy-to-understand explanations that were aimed at enhancing participants’ knowledge of common physical science concepts, such as inertia, velocity, acceleration, and Newton's laws of motion. The presenter shared his science and science education expertise, answered questions from the participants, and provided information on the topics mentioned above. These Web Seminars were designed for educators of grades 3-9.
