Teaching about Climate Change: Here and Now
|
NSTA is partnering with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, (NIEHS), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association, (NOAA), and USDA Forest Service to present an exciting Symposium for middle and high school educators, grades 5-12, on the topic of climate change. This event is a blended professional development opportunity that begins with this face-to-face symposium at the NSTA National Conference on Science Education in Indianapolis, IN. The in-person event will be followed by two NSTA Web Seminars, providing extended interaction between the participants and Interagency Consortium scientists and educational specialists. Symposium attendance requires conference registration.
Stipend Opportunity ($60)
The Interagency Consortium is pleased to offset the registration costs for participants, making this year’s Teaching about Climate Change: Here and Now free for registered educators. Participants will be reimbursed $60.00 after successful completion of the workshop.
