This Web Seminar took place on September 23, 2010 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Presenting was Dr. Randy Russell, Educational Designer with the Office of Education and Outreach at the University Corporation for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, Colorado. Dr. Russell presented an overview of the differences between climate and weather and explained the basics of what influences the Earth’s climate and how it has changed, both historically and recently. I had the pleasure of attending this web seminar. The lesson plans and activities discussed during the web seminar are perfect for a high school earth science class. They could also be modified for a middle school. Many web resources were shown. This web seminar is worth a look.
