NSTA Symposia are high quality learning experiences that begin at NSTA conferences with face-to-face half-day workshops and continue online with web seminars on related topics. Research shows that a blended model of professional development, combing in-person and web-based activities, has a positive impact on teacher practice, providing sustained opportunities for engagement, reflection, and implementation in the classroom. NSTA symposia are designed to enhance both the content knowledge and pedagogical efficacy of participating educators. In-person and online sessions are presented by scientists, engineers, and educational specialists from NSTA partners such as NASA, NOAA, FDA, NSF, and Sally Ride Science. For more information, please send an email to email@example.com.
