Incorporating SEPs into the Science Classroom
For those of you who are trying to incorporate the NGSS or some version of them in your classroom, what techniques are you using to differentiate instruction? I have worked with a few classes on SEP 3 - Planning and Carrying Out Investigations and they have struggled, but were mostly successful. I'm not sure how to introduce this to other classes where the students might not be reading on grade level and/or have behavioral/emotional issues that would make designing and carrying out their own investigation more of a challenge.
