I am doing a 5E lesson plan in my science class over life cycles. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how I would go about making a independent activity for different life cycles about plants, insects, and animals. So far I am doing an activity where they do a pictorial model of a ladybug's habitat. I am not sure where to go from there does the habitat even fit into this unit about life cycles? They do have to compare the cycles but I should they also compare the habitats? Any ideas/ suggestion would be appreciated for my future lesson in 3rd grade science.
