Argument-Driven Inquiry (ADI)

It's almost back to school time, so I want to post a few different resources if you’re just starting out using ADI.

One of my favorites is Ashley Murphy (former middle school teacher that used ADI in her classroom) presented a webinar about “Taking the Worry out of ADI”. She addresses a lot of the different obstacles and worries you may have when just beginning ADI in your own classroom and ways to solve these problems. Click here to view the video on our ADI You Tube Channel.

If you are looking for downloads of ADI handouts, you can click here: You will find investigation proposals, peer review guides, teacher grade book pages and many other free resources.

Feel free to reply back to this post with any questions you have about ADI—we’re happy to help!

I am looking for investigation report exemplars to show my students as they work through the ADI model for the first time (middle school). I have the sentence starter templates from the website you posted, which will also be helpful.
