I just finished up my studnet teaching and my studnets loved Kahoot anytime that we got the chance to use it however, sometimes we didn't have access to the Chromebooks therefore we couldn't use this as often as we wanted. Due to the pandemic affecting our state I had to conduct these lessons over zoom meetings however, I still stuck to an inquiry based approach with my studnets. I think that a literacy circle is a great resource to use while teaching effective science lessons. After reading the article it posed great ideas about how to assign jobs during the literacy circle. I think that every time a teacher says get your textbooks out and read these pages the whole class becomes discouraged. However, if you use this literacy circle method than the students will be more engaged in reading because each of them would have a job as well as they would be working with their peers which they love. I am very excited to be able to use this during my science lesson, as well as using this information to revamp my literacy circles during reading.
