I am a Teacher Trainer and Instructional Coach at OCM BOCES in central New York. My current role includes working with teachers K-6 using the Smithsonian Curriculum Units. All teachers receive 2 days of PD that include an introduction to the standards focusing on three dimensional learning as it is highlighted throughout the Smithsonian Curriculum. I have the opportunity to follow up PD opportunities with in-district coaching as well. I am eager to continue my own journey through understanding the depth of the standards and how I can best support teachers as they implement them in their classrooms.
