With the possibility of having to teach all or some of the beggining of our school year remotely, I was wondering if anyone has found any simulations, apps, or websites to help teach Science from a distance.

Thank you for sharing this. I will be sure to read that chapter. I am excited that you mentioned that the lesson is hands-on and budget friendly. I have started a collection of other Earth Science lessons and ideas for teaching elementary students. I have attached my current collection and I hope to add more to it this summer. I hope I can help you find some additional ideas as well.

5 Engaging Energy Sci Pack
This Sci pack is a must do for fourth grade teachers using the NGSS. All of the relevant topics in the NGSS for fourth grade are taught at a deeper level. I would even love to use some of the simulations to reinforce our lab results with children. I am wondering if these simulations are available to use with students in another area of this site.

5 Interactions Help Aide Learning
I really enjoyed this Sci Pack. The information was interesting and the variety of different interactive sections helped me to cement my learning of the concepts. This Sci Pack directly linked to my fourth grade curriculum; however, it would be helpful for all individuals to study as it makes us more aware of our direct impact to the environment. This course will definitely encourage you to reduce your carbon footprint.

4 Uncovering My Own Knowledge About the Earth's Cha
As a fourth grade teacher, this Sci Pack helped to deepen my own personal knowledge of many of the concepts we are required to teach students in Science. I loved the ability to refresh my memory on some topics and gain new knowledge on others. I think this knowledge will help me become more comfortable in explaining topics and clarifying misconceptions that the students may have.
