I am doing a lesson in my 5th grade Science class about food webs. I need assistance with the Engage portion of my 5E. Payton, I think an excellent way to relate this to students lives is to show them animals they would see in their community. I personally would start with the SUn, then move to plants, then cows. After cows, I would move to humans as we eat cows frequently for burgers and other meats. I think that this would show the students how the food webs relates back to us.
