As a 17 year science educator in the Dallas and Fort Worth Independent School Districts, I have taught physics, chemistry, research and design, environmental systems and AP environmental systems. I possess a Bachelor of Science in Physics from Dillard University in New Orleans and a Masters in Secondary Education. I diligently work to make sure all students receive an exemplary science education. I was instrumental in Gilliam Collegiate Academy in Dallas receiving the second highest rating of “Recognized” during my tenure as well as Blue Ribbon status. I have worked with educators as a trainer of classroom management and classroom pedagogy. Currently, I am the Physics Curriculum Specialist in the Fort Worth Independent School District where I utilize and implement research based practices and data analysis to design curriculum and develop professional learning to create sustained student achievement among science students.
