The nutrition scipack will give you plenty of ideas on the matter but for simple ideas on nutrition projects, I would definitely have the student analyze the nutrition facts of their favorite foods and look up what each thing on the box means. This can demonstrate their understanding of how to look up information while learning about what they're eating. It's a good exercise for anyone and the stu...

Working with other teachers is probably one of the best ways to help you prepare for your teaching years. Over plan your strategies and lessons to be ready for anything. Know your students as well as you can and find something that will get the students comfortable with you. Do your best and enjoy teaching, the reward is greater than anyone can tell you.

5 How to Teach Science
This collection has a lot of different teaching materials on how to teach young science students. It includes different methods and strategies such as teaching with cartoons and for teaching ELL and ESOL students. Every strategy is for a particular group of students. I believe this group of materials in this resource collection will be incredibly helping for teaching a lesson to ELL students in particular because there are so many sources making it easier to teach ELL students. I am also happy to see that the collection also includes safety precautions for science students since safety in the classroom to a student that may not know English is very important. Pictures can clearly demonstrate what and what not to do without the students having to know English. The collection is successful and will help any teacher trying to teach an ELL student.
