Sometimes I think that it could be easier to teach lower grades science but then whenever I have to explain science to some of the students that I tutor, it becomes a little challenging. I used to think that the younger the students, the easier it is to teach but after doing my Field Experience in different grade levels over the years, I have realized that it is the other way around, at least in m...

I have been doing research on Science books and have not find a lot of good quality story books or informational science books for students. I want the...

One of my favorite resources of this collection is the article called "Sensing Matter-Is it liquid or a solid?". The reason why it was my favorite resource is because I absolutely loved the lesson they offer in this article. I think it is a lesson that should be very essential to all the teachers when teaching the properties of matter. I also think that as teachers, sometimes we think that students are supposed to know something so we do not spend a minute of our instructional time teaching about, but sometimes assuming can lead to confusion. Sometimes it might be hard for students to tell apart different properties of matter and I think the best wait to do it is by sensing. That is the main reason why I love this lesson, because it is about observing through the senses and identifying the main properties of the elements. Overall this collection is very educational and informative, I enjoyed all of the resources it provides and I think it could be a great assistance when teaching.

I find your collection to be very informative science it offers a lot of information and knowledge about energy, chemical reactions and matter. I think that in order to tech about a lesson on a specific subject just like energy, we have to first educate ourselves and gain as much knowledge as we can so we are ready and prepared to teach the lesson to students. By doing all of these Science Object and SciPacks, you are able to gain the knowledge that you need to teach a lesson based on it. Also it serves as a resource that you could use whenever you have any doubt about a specific topic or you need to go back and re-learn it. I love this collection because it is very educational and as a future teacher I think it could be very helpful. Thank you for sharing!

I think this collection is very resourceful and contains a variety of strategies and educational resources that can help specifically the teacher get educated on different areas of science. I love that it has a little bit of everything and it exposes you to different types of subjects just like the Water Cycle, Coral Reef Ecosystem, Earth's seasons and many others.
