Growing Seeds and Scientists
I found this article to be excellent for introducing seeds and helping young students become scientists. The authors did an nice job of walking the students through the process of being a scientist. They gave example of how to teach the lesson on seeds and create scientific studies with students to help answer their questions on seeds. The information presented on seed was valuable and I plan to use it in future lessons about seeds and plants. I really enjoyed how the lesson went further than just, "seeds need sunlight, water, and soil to grow."

Ocean's Effect on Weather and Climate
I found the Sci-Pack about Ocean's Effect on Weather and Climate to be very interesting and informative. The information is presented in a clear and concise manner. The interactive lessons with in the Sci-Pack are fun and make learning about the ocean's effect on weather and climate even more interesting. The final test on the sic-pack was challenging and the questions were a little misleading.

Weather Study in the Classroom
"Dress for the Weather" states that it would be appropriate for grades 5-8, however, I can imagine how a few changes could be made for the lessons and it could be adapted for younger grades. I plan to use some of the information in this article for science lessons on the weather in kindergarten. I found this article to be very informative and packed full of ideas on how to encourage students to learn more about weather, how to read charts as their pertain to temperature and explore new vocabulary words.
