Julia Gaumer

I am a student at the University of Texas at Tyler, studying EC-6 Interdisciplinary Studies. My goal is to become a second grade teacher after graduation! I want to be a teacher because I want to inspire the next generations that they are able to achieve anything they put their mind to. I have had many teachers in my family line, and I aspire to be like each one of the incredible women in my life. I want to be a teacher to be a role model to my students, and be the emotional support system they need to know someone believes in them and cares for them greatly as Mrs. Roberts did for me. I played golf my first two years of college, and loved every second of it! I have now played golf for a total of 8 years, and plan to continue this passion for the rest of my life along side teaching.
