Wow- my interests... Where to begin? I find that I gravitate toward doing things that take me outside into nature such as hiking, kayaking, skiing, sailing, and night sky observing. I love to read, and spend at least an hour a day reading both fiction and non fiction books, and read the Washington Post daily. My family is also very important to me, and although my three sons are grown, I still manage to keep in touch with them on a regular basis. I have various goals for different facets of my life. My professional goals are to continue to increase my abilities to inspire the next generation! I love being a teacher! I train inservice teachers throughout the year, and love the collaboration and energy as they learn about astronomy (I teach an introduction to astronomy course for teachers) and as they develop ways to convey

This is a small collection of three items, plus a review of the items by the collector. These items include two Science Objects related to Earth's Changes as a result of humans and the ocean's effect on climate and weather, as well as a Science Guide for grades K-4 on the Earth and Sky. This collection could use a few journal articles or book chapters giving elementary educators some ideas of how to implement this background knowledge in their classrooms.
