I have returned to school for my MAT after a couple years off of school in the business world. I am eager to be in a classroom and make a difference.

I have been looking online to find places around Maryland that will come and talk to students for free by grants or by volunteering. I enjoyed the presentation by Maryland Agricultural Education Foundation. Are there others that teachers have used?

Although I do not have experience in a classroom, I have been told to start the school year in control. If you manage your class from the beginning, the students will know and respect the rules that you have in place.

5 Solar System SciPack
This compellation of lessons was a good range of information on the solar system. It discussed the creation of the Solar System to what it is today. I enjoyed the interactive models and slides which went along with the text. It seemed a little lengthy when I was going through it, but there was a lot to cover. I did not like the multiple part questions in the final assessment. I would still like to know which one of the questions that I answered incorrectly.
