Hi there! Like everyone else has metioned, it is very important to talk about lab safety and how this conversation benefits teachers and students. Talking about lab safety brings awareness to the students that there can be hazards when conducting an experiment and to prevetn the hazards, the students must follow all safety procedures and wear the proper safety wear. Although I am not a student teaching yet, I do know what it feels like when the students are not respecting you the same as they do to their teacher. 5 Excellent resources for the Food Wed/Food Chain!
After going through each resource, I am able to say that these resources are great to use in the classroom! The SciPack provides educators detailed information about the Food Wed/Food Chain. I remember completing the SciPack and learning a lot about the topic. This would be a great resource to use when creating a lesson plan about the Food Web/Food Chain. The other resources provided great activities that educators can use in their lesson plan. The resources talked about using trade books, children's literature, using online encyclopedias, and different activities to incorporate into lesson plans. I definitely recommend to use this collection for the Food Web/Food Chain!
