Hello,    I am a preservice teacher who will be working with fourth grade students this semester. What are some effective ways/ideas to incorporate science with an older group of elementary students? Do they still tend to prefer more of hands on activities? Thank you in advance.

Hi Corina,    An effective way to introduce science to pre-kindergarteners would be to see what interests them, and go off of that when planning your activities. Pre-kindergarteners tend to like more hands on activities since they are so young, so it would be best to only incorporate hands on activities only with your students.
