4 Inquiry w/ Straws & Pressure
This lesson does a fantastic job of having students use an everyday object to explore very complex science concepts. To truly get students to understand how a straw works and to dispel misconceptions alng the way was brilliant. This can easily be adapted to a variety of grade levels.

What a great inquiry approach to having students explore the differences between weather and climate. I know a lot of adults who mistakenly use the terms interchangeably. I thought this was well planned and many areas lend themselves to technology integration and extension activities.
