My name is Daniel Cadima. I am studying elementary education. I am planning to work as a teacher for many years then I will do other things as well. My favorite sport is football and my favorite team is Barcelona. My favorite scientist is Albert Einstein. He is my idol and he inspired me so much. I have two wonderful dogs Lucky and Mini.

The Bohr's model is definitely very interesting topic.The Bohr model gives almost exact results only for a system where two charged points orbit each other at speeds much less than that of light and this is what really fascinates me so much.

It's really fun to teach and give examples to students that gravity is an attraction force that attracts objects but I really wonder if someday in the future we'll probably discover what gravity truly is. I am more into Eintein's general relativity which describes gravity not as a mysterious force but as a curvature in space-time. The idea that the mass of the sun curves the Earth in space is just...

5 Energy Collection
This energy collection has many types of variation such as book chapters, sciguide, scipack, sciobject, external resource and journal articles. This collection is not only for elementary grades but also for middle and high school grades which is a plus. In addition, some collections aim for specific grades such as first and second grades. It provides hands-on activities that can help children use common objects to explore energy and energy transformations. However, the length of this energy collection may look as too lengthy but I think it was necessary to add more variation because otherwise it may felt as in incomplete. Overall I like this collection because it aims from elementary to high school grades.

5 Learning Different Characteristics in Science
It provides different characteristics of teaching science in a classroom. For example, the learner centered teaching places the emphasis on the person who is doing the learning. Learning centered teaching focuses on the process of learning. Overall great article. Highly recommended.

5 Reading As Scientists
Reading As Scientists provides ways that students can evaluate the quality of a scientific study by identifying conclusions as a group, deciding on appropriate evidence, suggesting improvements for the study and recommendations for the scientists. This is the same way scientists evaluate scientific studies. However, the student's evaluation on the quality of a scientific study is adapted and simplified into simple language. The goals of the author is to apply a narrative style in order to help students gain an understanding of scientists' work. In other words, the author wants young students to learn how to evaluate a scientific study just in the same way scientists do only in a much simplified language. The point on making students to make evaluations in scientific studies is to make them interested on science rather than just reading science.
