5 Safety of Science Collection Kathy Sparrow Review
This collection of articles and journal speak on the importance of safety. In the first article of the collection, Safety First!, it speak on the steps a teacher took with her third grade class when conducting an experiment of acid base exploration. The teacher invited the fire department to come into her classroom and educate her students on chemical waste. Strategies and ideas such as this are examples that future educator like myself can take an use in our own classroom. This collection allows for future educator, to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of safety and how we can implement strategies to ensure that both the students and ourselves are safe.
