Josette Andrews

I started out as a paraprofessional, though science has always been in my heart. When asked to teach science I pursued my teaching license and proceeded on to get my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. I love what I do and have brought a whole new approach to our students. We work beyond the book and are more hands on.

I have biology classes that were getting ready for dissections.  I found the Glencoe Virtual Lab site and it has virtual labs for more than just the one discipline. My students appreciate the change.  I also have Pearson online license that I have used the last two years.  Great series K-8; Elevate Science.

This is awesome, great class starters.  My classes are going to be in week 3 and I am always looking for new ways to bring science to them since I cannot be in a classroom with them.
