Wow! I am amazed that this organization is existent and the letters to a pre-scientist kind of reminds me of pen pals but in more educational way. I think it's very interesting and exciting how students get a letter from scientist about themselves and answer to any questions the students have for them. I think it will build positive interpersonal relationships with the scientist and perhaps could ...

First, I would start teaching students about the types of weather sunny, cloudy, windy, etc through visuals and videos then have them take a walk outside to feel the weather for that day. Since Kindergartners are too young to keep or record in science journals, I would start a classroom weather log where our class will go outside (once a week) for few minutes and share the type of weather based on...

Hello, I enjoyed your project about the foam flyer! Your website included basically everything a teacher/parent/student should follow starting from clear directions to pictures. Now, what grade level for students do you feel appropriate this task? I would love to have my students make this one day.

5 A 5 star resource!
I believe this science object is a great refresher for teachers to go over before teaching about how human impact other species and the ecosystem in which they live. There are abundant information for relearning and clarfication and an assessment at the end for them to reassess themselves about the contents learned. I would strongly recommend any educators to dedicate time to complete this scipack.

5 Wonderful Article
I really liked this article that explained teaching students about habitats through two trade books which were recommended. The article also included two lesson plans with clear and through directions for any educators to follow. Then, I liked how each lesson plan had a box at the bottom that listed how this lesson connected to the National Science Education Standards. For these reasons, I think I will definitely use these lessons when teaching about animal habitat!
